On our trip in June, 2015, we went to this rehab center and gave out 140 books.  Two days later, 130 people showed up for bible studies as you can see in the picture to the right of this one.

Right after giving out 30 GC's at this rehab center for boys aged 12-18, here they are reading the books.  Could you imagine a youth in the United States who is not Adventist getting a books and reading it right away like that?  Such are the many opportunities at rehab centers.

This was at a rehab center in Ensenada.  Everybody was excited to get get the books and they were hurrying to make sure they all got one.  There are about 50 registered rehab centers in Ensenada, a city of 700,000.  So far we have visited only 4 but our plan is to visit all of them.

These are the guys at the bible studies 2 days after we gave out the books.  There are 120 guys here and 10 women in another part of the rehab center where they stay.  These studies are still continuing to this day, although we took a break for the holidays.

At the rehab center at Aguas de Ojos, near Tijuana, we gave out 130 books and we had guys running after us to make sure they got a book.  Right afterwards they were intently reading them.  We have been getting 1 baptism and 5 bible studies for every 25 GC's that go out at rehab centers.

Working with Rehab Centers

This was at the rehab center in Agua de Ojos, which is halfway between Tijuana and Tecate.  We had the most excitement of any rehab center here where guys were literally running after us to get a book and we were reaching up to rooftops to get them their books.  The guys were intently reading them afterwards.  This is the first rehab center where we gave out our business cards for a new program where the rehab patients can continue their bible studies and get food, clothing and other help after they are released from the rehab center.  We had patient's families thanking us for out program and they said that is beautiful that someone is doing something for their family members.  They said they want there son, relative, to be there because our program is there.
